Jen is a mother of 4 beautiful children , that also share her love of the mountains. A dog lover with a passion for the jewelry industry since the age of 18yrs old.
Jen has over 30yrs in fine jewelry and watch sales.
She attributes her ongoing love and learning of the industry to her first mentor, the late Dorian Magwitz, one time owner of Hamilton Jewelers.
Mr. Magwitz was more than a boss, through his example he taught me the importance of treating everyone who walked through his door with respect, caring and genuine kindness.
He showed me this industry is about genuine relationships, friendship and trust.
Even to this day so much in the industry is done on a simple handshake and giving someone your word.
That’s pretty special.
Jen’s favorite part of working in jewelry:
Hands down the relationships I build with my clients!
Many times tears are shed, laughter is had and hugs are shared while I meet with them.
It’s an honor to help find or create the pieces that mark the most significant moments of their lives.
It’s a pretty special if you think about it… jewelry is the one tangible piece we wear daily to mark these passages that can be passed to the next generation.
Thoughts on partnering with her daughter:
Tay has been by my side in the industry since I can remember.
She is incredibly talented with the website design, social media and the operation end of the company.
Her vision and planning for the social media and e-commerce is beyond what I could of ever imagined.
She understands that this industry is about relationships, being genuine, kind and helpful. Its about putting the clients needs first.
There is no other person I would rather build a dream with then one of my children.
She is the yin to my yang.
Tay is a junior Saint Louis University. She will be studying abroad this fall. When she returns she aspires to attend law school. She has grown up in the jewelry industry watching and working side by side with her mom. She has been working with jewelry website design and social media since age 15.
Tay's favorite part of working in jewelry:
For sure the connection and emotion people put with the pieces they create or purchase to mark a moment in their life.
I think it’s pretty special that we can have something we wear daily to remind us of a special memory in our life
